Technical information: The Old Dames School is old - but it does have a full range of modern facilities.
Telecommunications: There are two phone lines into the house, one of which has been used as a fax and 56KB internetline in the past.
Since last summer broadband has been available at our end of the village and a BT Wifi system has been installed and is working successfully throughout the ground floor.
There are six telephone points throughout the property.
Digital Television: There is a Sky Digital system installed in the lounge and a booster system feeds the satellite channels to the five other rooms which have television points.
Mains: The Old Dames School is on mains drainage and mains gas
Heating: The property has gas fired central heating and the Aga also heats the kitchen and conservatory area. All the living space has radiators.
Double glazing: Every room in the entire cottage has secondary double glazing apart from the conservatory.
Electrics: There is plenty of electrical power to the garage and Pig Sty with an additional powerpoint in a small box in the back garden.
